Every month, I publish an answer to a reader’s question. Here’s a transcript of my answer to a reader’s question about my favorite documentary.
Hi Lisanne, what’s the most interesting documentary you’ve ever watched and can recommend?
Well, that’s a hard one. It’s an impossible task to name just one, but I’ll say that one of the most interesting documentaries I’ve watched is Wild Wild Country. That documentary on Netflix made a big impression on me. These 6 episodes describe the Bagwhan in both its glorious times, as well as the pitfall and the beginning of this cult. It’s “wild” what this group of people set out to do in such a short period of time and it touches upon some interesting themes like how we as humanity deal with “the other”. Maclain and Chapman Way did a pretty good job in making this documentary series, and if you’re into topics like this then I can recommend this one.
