My top 10 quotes to embrace reading books

MY LOVE FOR STORYTELLING started at a very young age. My mom shared with me that I started paying attention to books long before I was even able to read. And as years past by my love for stories didn’t stay with the book genre. Every art form tells his own story – from films to cartoons, and from theater to paintings. Books are everywhere, and to embrace reading once more – here is my top 10 with quotes on reading.

Your mind is like a muscle

Being an avid reader myself, I have experienced that reading allows you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, if only for a moment; but once that moment’s over, you remember the experience for the rest of your life. I love books for that and they help me to exercise my mind.

In some ways our brain is like a muscle that needs to be worked. Just like going to the gym everyday keeps your arms and legs in shape, reading keeps your mind sharp and able to easily retain knowledge. Our brain is so powerful that it can hold almost an unlimited capacity of information. The more you read and learn, the easier it becomes to retain information. Reading enables me to be better in focusing and listening with full attention.

To celebrate books once more, here are my top 10 quotes on reading.
