My personal list of christmas books

My personal list of christmas books

The holidays are almost here. I always love taking a moment this time of year to catch up on reading, and I know a lot of people feel the same way. There’s something about the quieter days around the holidays that makes it easier to sit down with a good book.

So I’m sharing a few recent favorites here. These were some of my favorite books from 2025. If you’d like to keep updated, make sure you sign up to the book community newsletter for more recommendations.

Each of these books pulls back the curtain on how something important really works: how people find purpose later in life, how we should think about family ties, how creative industries evolve, how humans communicate, and how we’ve lost our ability to build a generous internet—and how to get it back.

I hope you find something here that sparks your curiosity. And I hope your Christmas season is filled with loved ones, tasty food, and great conversation.

Some of the best books I read in 2025:

Infectious Generosity by Chris Anderson This is a thoughtful, hopeful read for a world that often feels fractured. It shows how small acts of kindness can ripple outward, transforming connections and spreading hope. Uplifting without being preachy, it’s a reminder that generosity is contagious—and exactly what we need more of right now.
