The test is a bit unfair. It demands flawlessness from those who could move the needle fastest.
This “gotcha” culture paralyzes action. It rejects the value of imperfect, incremental change in favor of costly moral performance.
The backlash isn’t mere envy — it’s rejection.
A demand for integrity in a world that rewards optics.
If you want people to trust you, don’t perform goodness.
Build systems that make goodness ordinary.
