Everybody Wants The Dream

Everybody Wants The Dream

Everybody wants the dream.

The fancy dinners with your name handwritten on the card. The public speaking deal for a group of entrepreneurs.

But very rarely we land ourselves into our dream job directly.

Few of us want the process—the unglamorous work that builds the strength to hold the dream once it arrives.

It comes from being willing to do the work no one sees.
The uncredited, behind-the-scenes, step-by-step work that looks nothing like the dream—until suddenly it does.

So yes, everybody wants the dream.
But the ones who get there are the ones willing to sweat through the scaffolding.
To take the jobs, the detours, the iterations that shape their mind and sharpen their edge.

The dream isn’t waiting for you at the finish line.
It’s being built—quietly, intelligently, and persistently—in the moments that don’t make the highlight reel.

The reason why you haven’t fulfilled the dream yet is because you weren’t willing to take the jobs and do what was necessary to get to the dream.

Everybody wants the dream.
