What if we got rid of science class?

Not because science isn’t important—it is incredibly important.

But because the way we teach it often skips the most magical part: the wonder.

What if, instead, from the very beginning—like kindergarten—we had a class completely dedicated to curiosity and explanation? A space where kids learn to ask “why?” and don’t stop until they really understand “how.”

Not with one-word answers like “because.” Not with a shrug or “magic.” But with real thought, real digging, real delight in discovering something new.

I believe curiosity is a skill. A beautiful one. And like any skill, it can be taught—nurtured, encouraged, loved into being.

Can you imagine what the world would look like if kids grew up fluent in wonder? If they knew how to follow their questions like breadcrumbs? If they were taught, not just to know things, but to want to know?

I think it would change everything.
