Books Written by Sebastian Junger

In October 1991 the swordfishing boat Andrea Gail sailed out of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and disappeared in one of the most powerful storms ever recorded. Sebastian Junger, then a young freelance writer who had been injured in a tree-cutting job, reconstructed its last days, and The Perfect Storm became a phenomenon. He went on to spend months with an American platoon in the most dangerous valley in Afghanistan, and to write about belonging, freedom and, after nearly dying himself, death. This guide covers all seven of his books in order, and where to start.
