What I’m Working On
A behind-the-scenes look into my creative process, charity and film production work
This place is a living archive of the projects I’m developing and producing — whether that’s a short film in post-production, a new essay series in early stages, or foundational work with the Swart Foundation.
Alongside these projects, I write weekly personal letters on my blog — honest reflections on creativity, life, books, and the work of making stories that matter. These letters are where I process what I’m working on and invite readers into the in-between moments of creation.
Below, you’ll find my current focus divided into three areas: Writing, Filmmaking, and Foundation Work.
Writing
Weekly Personal Letters
Each week, I publish personal letters on my blog reflecting on creativity, life, books, and charity work. These letters offer an honest, behind-the-scenes look at my creative process. The essays are personal, and read by over 5,000 readers a month.

Writing for Swart Foundation
For the Swart Foundation, I write interviews, essays, and field notes that explore what children around the world are facing — and what might be done to remove the barriers that hold them back. These stories spotlight lived experiences while also highlighting local knowledge and creative, community-based solutions.

The Decoded
A personal email series where subscribers receive a short essay every day for one year. These essays reflect on the creative process, what it means to live a meaningful life, and the small moments that shape how we understand ourselves and the world. This daily writing practice is central to my creative evolution.
Foundation work
🌍 Swart Foundation – Content Initiative
A continuous digital project collecting real stories from children around the world. In collaboration with local organizations, we create short visual profiles, photo essays, and mini-documentaries around the themes of safety, meaning, and well-being. Every child deserves to dream, be safe, and be healthy. We are growing a small but loyal tribe of readers who’ll support our mission when funding begins. Through storytelling, we aim to give visibility to children’s voices — not as victims, but as narrators of their own experiences.
