The Oprah Leadership Academy for Girls - inspired by her own disadvantaged childhood, Oprah Winfrey founded the foundation in 2007 after a conversation with Nelson Mandela. The foundation is located in South Africa and aims to serve children, families, and communities, with a specific focus on youth education and leadership.

Malala Fund - cofounded by Malala Yousafzai in 2013, this international foundation advocates for girls´ education. The non-profit organization aims to break down barriers that hold girls back.

Women for Women International - a charity founded in 1993 by Iraqi-American humanitarian, entrepreneur, and author Zainab Salbi. The organization helped more than 479,000 marginalized women survivors of war, living in the most dangerous places in the world. The charity’s year-long training program aims to learn women how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community.

Barefoot Foundation - a Colombian charity founded by artist Shakira in 1997, with the aim of helping poor and impoverished children. The Barefoot Foundation works to ensure that every Colombian child can exercise their right to quality education.
