A couple of months ago I shared my definition of success in this blog. In the upcoming post I like to share some quotes from respectable scientists and other amazing people that explain success better than I do. In that spirit, here are 10 quotes on success that will motivate you to push forward.
It’s your life
When we grow up we learn that adults have authority. It is the school teacher you should listen to when you are in the classroom, it is your parents who tell you how to behave, and it’s your sports teacher who tells you how best to train.
But if there is 1 thing I have learned so far is that adults very often don’t know any better than yourself and that they are the last you should listen to. What success is – and how it should be defined is completely personal, in my opinion.

I’ve collected the ones that reflect most what I think success should be about. Like Einstein and many other scientists implied; it’s not about being considered as the one who gets more out of life than you put in, but about being a person of value who will give more than you take. I like the quotes because they put service to humanity above so-called success in life.
